Bits of December

We were lucky enough to have my in-laws and Mom visit before Christmas. I had big photographic plans for all of it, but sometimes the camera is just too cumbersome. So here are a few bits from the past couple of weeks. Merry Christmas to all! xoxo

1 2 3 4It looks like someone enjoyed a romantic evening here. So romantic they forgot to pick up their trash. 5 6Idaho is so beautiful. And these are just the foothills.7 8 9We opted to do something new and fun this year- purchase a $10 tag and cut down our own tree from the forest. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24Climbing the hump at Camel’s Back Park is always a workout. Watching my Mom heave herself up through bursts of laughter was priceless. 25 26 27 28 29 30 31The Boise Botanical Garden lights don’t quite compare to New Orleans’ City Park but the crackling fire barrels, hot chocolate and snowball fights made up for it 🙂 32 33 35 37 38

10 on 10 ~ December

 It recently occurred to me while picking on my husband’s flaws, which I’m often inclined to do, that he too endures my faults. The difference is that he does so quietly. Behold, my husband: a man who withstands, provides for our family, likes to take it easy, is a kid at heart and rubs my feet on the daily.
