Back to the Bayou

When I cannot understand my Father’s leading, And it seems to be but hard and cruel fate, Still I hear that gentle whisper ever pleading, God is working, God is faithful—Only wait.

  1. Ashley, that’s right…He is working, He is faithful. I hope for continued comfort and much peace to you and your beautiful children as you lean on Him for strength. xoxo

  2. Hey ash…. I wish u told us to come help u. I’m sorry we were not there to help u pack. Love u so much. Incredible life pictures. I felt like I was right there in the car and house just looking at the pics. You are such an artist. Just know God is faithful and He will take care of you.

  3. After you shared a brief summary of your recent history, and of how Jesus found you and is leading you back to the bayou… Well, these photos are particularly potent in light of that. So much emotion and significance in this journey. I bless you with peace that surpasses understanding, and with joy on the other side if this obedience..

  4. So awsome that you took time to photodocument this story! I mean, I can only imagine how taxing and demanding it must be to do All the work of moving, and so emotional, too. But you slowed down to see and to tell, using yor camera. So rich.

  5. Thinking of you always Ashley. My eyes fill up with big tears as I look through these. I am touched so deeply by all you have gone through….and all we have shared in conversation over the last year. God is working in you and your family..and it is something so incredible to see. Trust in Him always. Big hugs and love to you and yours. xoxo

  6. Ashley, I think of you all the time. Wishing you peace on your journey. These images have so much emotion in them. It’s been hard to get you out of my mind, and I like it that way. xo
